The 14th Annual Good Practices in Education took place on May 13, 2017 in Tuzla Campus of Sabanci University.

The Conference aims at generating new platforms that will enable educators to get together to share their creations and good practices. In addition to presentations of good practices, the conference program is enriched with workshops, banner presentations, which set the stage for face-to-face dialogue among participants across of various educational topics.

The Conference received a total of 500 applications from the fields of Early Childhood Education, Anti-discrimination in Education, Education in Village Schools, Supporting Social and Emotional Skills in Education, Education of Immigrant and Refugee Children and Sports Education. This year’s opening session was held in the theme of “Persistent Dialogue, Now and Always” with the moderation of Ömür Kula Çapan (Board Member of ERG) and the participation of Atilla Durak (Photograph Artist), Dr. Feyza Akınerdem (Sociologist), Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Alpar (President of Bilim Akademisi, Academic Member of Sabancı University) and Nebahat Akkoç (Founding Member of KAMER). 80 oral presentations and 16 poster presentations selected by the members of the conference selection committee were shared with 904 participants.
