Irmak Akıncı

Communications Assistant

Irmak was born in Ankara. After studying journalism in Ege University in Izmir, where she moved when she was 12 years old, she came to Istanbul in 2013 to practice her profession. After working in several sectors such as journalism and public relations, she decided to pursue a master’s degree in Media and Communication Systems at Istanbul Bilgi University and continue working in civil society afterward. She joined the team in April 2019 as Network Development Specialist.

 

Irmak watches plenty of foreign series and movies, follows amateur and semi-professional theaters and wants to throw herself out of Istanbul whenever she can. She likes animals and talking about her cat.
