Günalp completed his undergraduate degree in English Language Education at Boğaziçi University in 2017. Through his college years, he took a vast variety of electives, revolving around literature, psychology, and linguistics. In his last year of college, he worked as an intern teacher at Robert College and he joined Teachers Network as an intern. Upon his graduation, he became a full-time member of the team.
Günalp is amazed by how the languages are used and acquired across cultures in addition to his life-long interest in education. He likes to read, cook, grow plants and wander about. His ultimate dream is to find a quiet place near the sea where he could spend the rest of his days as a happy little old man.
