Education, Religiosity and Tendency to Vote to Political Parties
Naci Mocan from Louisiana State University, Department of Economics and Resul Cesur, a part-time lecturer in both İstanbul Bilgi University and Boğaziçi University and also the founder of independent research company Infakto RW, attended to the seminar themed “Education, Religiosity and Tendency to Vote to Political Parties” that took place in Karaköy Minerva Han. In the seminar, effects of education on belief, lifestyle, and political preference are discussed depending on the data of Naci Mocan and Resul Cesur’s study took place in 2012. The study focused on the change of the duration of compulsory education in Turkey from five years to eight years.
