Assist. Assoc. Dr. Mine Göl from Boğaziçi University Education Faculty, Primary School Department attended to the seminar themed “Classroom Management and Understanding and Guiding the Child Behavior in Elementary School 1st Grade” that took place in Karaköy Minerva Han. The seminar discussed the 1st Grades Support Project that was developed by the collaboration of Boğaziçi University Education Faculty Dean and Provincial Directorate of National Education in order to support teachers and social-emotional development of children in classes where the children started to first grade earlier than usual. The project was conducted in 14 schools in disadvantaged areas where poor and deprived children undergo education.
