Assoc. Dr. Pınar Uyan Semerci from Istanbul Bilgi University International Relations and Political Science and Başak Ekim Akkan who is a researcher in Boğaziçi University Social Policy Forum (SPF) attended to the seminar themed “The Impact of School Meal on Children’s Educational Outcome” that took place in Karaköy Minerva Han. In the seminar, school perceived as an area of social welfare that would meet the diverse needs of children. The consequences of lacking nutrition and effect of school meal on education were discussed.
