Zeynep was born in Tekirdağ, grew up in Kırklareli and Erzincan, spent her childhood in İzmir and İstanbul and teenage years in Ankara, her family registry is in Afyon but she’s actually from Kayseri’s Gesi Wineyards. She studied in 3 different primary schools and 2 high schools. In 2012, she came back to Istanbul to study Psychological Counseling and Guidance at Boğaziçi University.
In her Erasmus semester at Utrecht University, she designed a community center with her teammates for the children who lives in Kanaleneilend which is considered as a disadvantaged area. After Utrecht, she realized that she want to be involved more in civil society and social projects, so, she worked as an intern at Mother Child Education Foundation and supported various items of work. She did school counseling internships at TED Rönesans College and Nimetullah Mahruki Middle School from which she is graduated. At the same time, she met Teachers Network and joined as a program intern. Upon her graduation, she became a full-time member of the team.
Zeynep, whose childhood dream was to be a painter, is engaged in painting and clay since then. She is a cinema lover, especially, the genre of psychological thriller and the admiration of Hitchcock, Polanski, Tarantino, Lynch, and Trier. She likes everything that she does with her friends and family. She likes to hug trees and animals quite often. She is the human of two cats. She dreams about to own a house with a garden where dog(s) can live, too, one day.
